sacrificing kara

Originally Produced at Mahattan Theatre Source, NYC

Sacrificing Kara takes place one Friday evening in a crumbling, walk-up apartment in Brooklyn. On that night, Kara, who works fulltime as a waitress to support her brilliant yet still-unknown artist husband, Jake, and preparing for an urgent visit by her wealthy sister and brother-in-law, is suddenly and harshly confronted with Jake's infidelities. What she discovers is that love, and perhaps more importantly, his art, may just be worth sacrificing everything...
